    Create your account

    Register a free Aeternis account in seconds. One account works across every realm and unlocks the player panel, rankings and store.

    Download the client

    Grab the full Season-21 game client and the latest patch. Install, run the launcher and let it auto-update before your first login.

    Pick your realm

    Choose how you want to play: 90x for a steady beginner-friendly climb, 500x for balanced mid-game pacing, or 9999x for instant hardcore power.

    Create a character & class

    Roll your first hero and pick a class line — tank, mage, ranged, hybrid or summoner. Each evolves into more powerful forms as you grow.

    Level up & reset

    Grind through Devil Square, Blood Castle and invasions to hit max level, then reset to grow stronger and chase the rankings.

    Join a guild

    Team up with a guild for parties, events and Castle Siege. The strongest guilds rule the realm and earn weekly castle income.

Client Help

Troubleshooting

Launcher won't openRight-click it and choose Run as administrator. If Windows SmartScreen warns you, click More info → Run anyway — the AeternisMU launcher is safe.
Antivirus blocks the clientMU patchers are often false-flagged. Add the game folder to your antivirus / Windows Defender exclusions, then relaunch.
Missing .dll / won't startInstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable (x64) and the latest DirectX — that fixes almost every missing-DLL error.
Stuck while patchingAdd the folder to your antivirus exclusions (or pause it during the first patch) and make sure a firewall isn't blocking the launcher, then retry.
Can't connect / login failsPick the correct realm orb before signing in, confirm the realm reads Live on the site, and check no firewall or VPN is blocking the connection.
Black screen or crashesRun the client as administrator, update your GPU drivers, and switch to windowed mode if fullscreen crashes on launch.
